Watch out for bad fats in transfat-free foods

Have you seen interesterified oils? I saw one on a package of crackers and it piqued my interest.

I am surprised when I notice something new in food. An ingredient, a new manufacturing method, or even a new dietary theory. I live in this world and few things are new to me in this way. That is why I was so excited to read the ingredient list on the side of a box of Applause crackers.

My research lead me to conclude that the food manufacturers are substituting these unhealthy fats for transfats, because transfats have to appear on the nutrition label.

Read all about it on my Diabeties website.
