Luke with Happy Clients
In 2006, while attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition a mentor taught me to make every year my “Best Year Yet.” It’s an exhilarating game that changes everything. You go from living into your probable future (looks a lot like it does now!) to actively creating your life from “anything is possible.”
How to play is simple, but it takes courage and a commitment to living life to the fullest. There are two simple steps:
#1 Regularly ask and honestly answer the question:
“What do I really want for my life?”
#2 Stop making excuses and get in action, NOW.
Following these two steps, I went from earning $700/month and never imagining I could run my own business to grossing up to $10,000/month with a business that I absolutely love in just a few years.
Tiny Steps or Big Breakthroughs?
At the beginning, before I knew how to ask for and accept high-level support, I was making mini, incremental steps forward in all areas of my life.
In 2009, I created massive transformations and breakthroughs.
The reason for my success?
I put into place Step#3: Get big time support from expert coaches. Over the years, I’ve had coaches and I’ve done programs, but nothing has come close to the support I got from Seth Braun and his Men’s Mastery Course.
Seth Braun’s coaching is exclusively designed for men like me – young men who are tired of repeating the same patterns, tired of getting results in one area of their lives, only to sacrifice all the others, and willing to do the inner and outer work necessary to create real and lasting breakthroughs.
Anything is Possible for Your Life
Literally, anything is possible for your life through those 3 steps:
#1 Vision the life you want to live.
#2 Stop making excuses and take immediate positive action.
#3 Get massive support to accelerate your growth and side-step unseen obstacles.
Vacation, Adventure, and Travel
When I launched my business, I worked almost every waking moment all year long. In 2009, I took over 2 months of vacation: 1 month of retreats in Costa Rica and 1 month for yoga training in the Bahamas. Not bad!
And I’ve created a business plan that will make this type of time off possible every year.
Fitness and Sports
I never thought I’d learn to surf, but it’s hard not to if you spend time on the beaches of Costa Rica. And I now have one of the most thrilling and rejuvenating hobbies to look forward to for the rest of my life.
And it may not sound like a big thing for most of you, but I played in my first adult sports league this past winter. When I was younger, I sustained major sports injuries. Until recently, that has prevented me from getting back into a league.
In 2009 I got crystal clear about my love of sports and took the necessary steps to rehab my body and get back in the game.
Service
Service is a major part of my life now. While in Costa Rica, I witnessed a monkey being electrocuted on a power line. I told the story to some friends, and now we run an annual fundraiser retreat to raise funds and awareness for the protection of the monkeys.
Costa Rica retreats are a favorite part of my year, but a favorite day of my week is Fridays, when I take off work to be of service to veterans who have been homeless and addicted to drugs or alcohol after sustaining Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in foreign wars.
A Legacy of Health and Vitality
I never thought I’d be able to take off a weekday (work day) to do, essentially, whatever I want. I can do this because each year I take my business and my coaching to the next level – refining whom I work with and the programs I offer. I’ve developed a one-of-a-kind system, the “15-Minute Meal System,” that supports busy people to master healthy, delicious and FAST cooking. It works well and happy clients are sending more and more people who are ready, willing and able to take their nutrition to the next level with my support.
Family
Being self-employed, I quickly became a work-a-holic. As you just read, I’ve made huge strides with life balance, but I never seemed to have the rich and fulfilling relationships with my Family – siblings, parents, grandparents, etc. In
2009 my intention to be a loving presence in my family caused some major breakthroughs for several f
amily members.
I even brought my
family together for the very first celebration of my deceased grandfather’s life, many years after his death. It was an incredibly healing experience for all, and would not have been possible without a commitment to living “My Best Year Yet.”
It Just Gets Better,
If You Want it To
I’m clear that every year of my life will be my “Best Year Yet:” more fun, more fulfillment, more success, more learning, more peace, more of all things good.
And I will continue to get expert support from people who will accelerate the process.
How About Your Life?
So, What do you want for your life? I mean, really want? And what would your “Best Year Yet” look like this year?
All you really need to know is that you want to play the game. And then get support. If you are a young professional like me, and you’re a man, you’ll want to seriously consider having my coach, mentor and friend Seth Braun in your corner. It’s made all the difference in the world for me.
